A daily prayer
A gentle word like a spark of light illuminates my soul.
And each sound goes deeper.
It is you that makes my whole----
On the dawn of a new day,
For the answer of our love we pray.
For the arms to hold us dear
For losing,… the pain we fear
To take my love from my heart away
Will surely make my soul to bleed to death.
May this not be the day that my being has to die
But one for hope and joy
